Hey everyone I'm Shikira ReNae Savage and welcome,
About me I'm 22 I have only one sibling my older brother Jaireth. My mom's name is Tina Louise Stillman Savage my Dad's Todd G. Savage.



I was born April 27th 1995. I was a C-section baby and the doctors immediately knew something was wrong with me. I wasn't breathing and I don't know the technical name but I was a baby under stress so I was rushed to NICU in critical condition and my parents were told I would be there for a month or two.


I was hooked up to all kinds of wires and this is a picture of my best friend my grandma sitting watching over me. So they told my parents that I would be in for months. Well I did so great I was born on a Thursday and released from the hospital that next Monday.

Skip to now I have had a lot of surgeries but surprisingly none of them had to do with my traumatic birth
Surgery 1: Knee Surgery (age 12)
Surgery 2: Knee Surgery (age 14)
Surgery 3: Knee Surgery (age 16
Surgery 4: Gallbladder Removal (age 17)
Surgery 5: Knee Surgery (age 18)
Surgery 6: Appendix Removal (19)
Surgery 7: Knee Surgery (19)
An 8th surgery pending for whenever I get better insurance it'll be a knee surgery.

This hasn't kept me from living though, being bedridden so much taught me my love for writing. I still hang out with friends. Take care of my honorary nephews. play with my puppies, write of course  and live life.

Another Sneak Peak

I don't have much to tell you about I've just been in so much pain that I can barely function through the day. I did however start a new book Deep Blue By Jennifer Donnely so far it is really good. I've also been so obsessed with booktube. I have been watching videos of booktubers all day.  So as promised her is a sneak peak of The Portals Series: The Rose. My Thoughts On School

It is a new year of school and I am so happy for those who are using that time to better their lives. I do however want to take a bit of a different approach just to get you thinking so let's get started.  I am not a high school graduate I have had many problems keeping me from education, When I was in fourth grade I got a really bad case of hives so bad that they had to kill my immune system to make it go away and that's when the problems really started, It never came back right and even to this day at twenty years old I get sick at the drop of a hat. That would have been hard enough but then at age twelve my knee problems were discovered and I have spent every other year having surgery and a long six week recovery. I was so sick that I wasn't able to finish my junior year of high school I had missed so much. I got the chance to go to my senior year but I just couldn't catch up and had to have another surgery to remove my gallbladder. I now know I was also suffering
