Another Sneak Peak

I don't have much to tell you about I've just been in so much pain that I can barely function through the day. I did however start a new book Deep Blue By Jennifer Donnely so far it is really good. I've also been so obsessed with booktube. I have been watching videos of booktubers all day. 

So as promised her is a sneak peak of The Portals Series: The Rose.

Alexandria woke when there was a shift on the mattress. Sitting in front of her was a gorgeous man. He had thick shoulder length black hair and ruby red eyes . He was nicely built and had the strongest jaw line.

"Alexandria." He whispered in a deep perfect voice.

She didn't know why but she reached for him, she craved his skin touching her's she needed it.

He leaned forward grabbing her hand and pressing it against his cheek. She felt the slightest bit of stubble, and her heart started racing he was perfect to perfect to be real.

"Don't be afraid I've got you." He then whispered leaning even closer.

Suddenly there was another shift of the bed as Anthony sat up snapping her out of the trance she had been under. The handsome figure melting away like the wax to a candle leaving her mortified of what creature was now sitting in front of her. His eyes had turned from a ruby red to blood read, all his hair was gone leaving him completely balled. His skin had turned a sickly yellow, he had a bat's nose and sharp fangs. He still had a grip on her hand but his hand was now slimmer and his fingernails long like daggers.

All Alexandria could think to do was scream. Anthony yanked her away pulling her into his arms.

"Get away" Anthony hissed

"Come to darkness." The creature said his voice changed from a once sultry voice to what sounded like Robert England's portrayal of Freddy Kruger. "Come or he will come." He then said.

The door was thrown up and Kalian was standing in the doorway his face reddened with anger.

"Wizard." The creature his jumping off the bed and pressing himself against the wall his skin morphing again. This time he grew into six feet in height, covered in fur. He grew bat wings and his face changed completely into a bats. He stood on a three talon foot barring his jagged teeth. It looked again at Kalian then flew out of the window and out of sight.

"Oh my gosh." Alexandria gasped still in shock.

"It's okay sweetheart, it's okay." Anthony reassured her over and over.

"What was that?" Alexandria asked.

"A vampire" Kalian answered.
